10 Entrepreneur Mistakes young striving entrepreneurs make. Don't assume Ivy League background gives someone legitimate entrepreneur qualification.
They're not. It's Hard.
Can you think of the biggest mistake young startups and young entrepreneurs are making in trying to get new users in a very busy time on social media?
The single biggest mistake that I see young entrepreneurs making with young startups is this: One, not realizing that they're not an entrepreneur. I know that this is a very douchebag thing for me to say. But I think it is a very important conversation that we need to be having.
In my opinion we are living in a very attractive time to be an entrepreneur. For the reason that Mark Zuckerberg puts on a hoodie and a movie comes out, then Instagram made a billion dollars in 500 days after all these events that happened everybody decided that they were an entrepreneur. The amount of Ivy league students that I’m meeting, who attended Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Brown or anywhere else think that just because they are smart students they are entrepreneurs. When they have their first taste of adversity they crumble down like fucking little bitches. In my opinion the first mistake we have is that people decided that they are entrepreneurs when they are not, to me that is the biggest problem. Number two people think that it’s a lot easier than it actually looks; for every instagram there is there are 5 million instashits.

Really Great
Wow 😂
I'm a little late watching this. Interesting thoughts except for the part that compares people crumbling like "bitches". I don't think us "bitches" crumble any faster than anyone else. In fact, we might be more resilient than a lot of men.
Useful video, glad to see it
seeing in a different perspective, I think it can also mean acknowledge who you are and be the best version of yourself.
Damn right. And then theyre out there skewing the image of real entrepreneurs who are not doing it bc it's cool and who are having a hard time and who are sticking it through the shit phase.
This is one of the most arrogant and studpid speakers I have ever heard – you were asked a simple question and you begin developing a theory about who should be considered an entrepenure – who the hell do you think you are? you dont need a licence to become an entrepenure and you don't have the right to tell anyone that he is not an entrepenure! Let me tell you what is the biggest mistakes people make – even before forming a startup. it is listening to people like you who tell them that their dream is a waste of time and money that there are thousends like you who have allready failed. if you have a dream – follow your dream and don't waste time on this kind of ass holes – just do it!
5 MILLION INSTA SHIT!! i just pissed myself lol
What great honesty here! Gary's answer stresses the importance behind staying the course and persevering. Quitting when adversity comes your way only guarantees your failure.
Great clip with a healthy dose of reality
Love it. Gary send me a link to full video, gracias
