The sportscard culture is back!
The market is super hot right now and it’s so exciting to watch people have fun, get back to their childhood passions, and learn the game of supply/demand and buying/selling.
This is a market that’s growing in demand but doesn’t have more supply. That’s a recipe for opportunity – it’s a big reason why I put over a million dollars into sports cards over other alternatives.
Here are some of my favorite moments from being involved in the hobby for over the past year. Hopefully, this helps you understand why I am going so hard in this space and why I get so much enjoyment out of it... enjoy!

Or Gary we be realistic. Those kids u are saying are buying all these sneakers, that u assume are switching to card collecting are kids that have always never had a problem spending money on sneakers in general. Ur not creating a group of entrepreneurs but a group of middle/high class kids that are able to afford to pay these prices to look like they created an industry from scratch.

I love garyvee but to be completely real, he ruined the hobby of sports cards. Remember when you could go to Target or Walmart and there'd be cards? me too. RIP

I have been collecting for roughly 40 years. In my humble opinion vintage cards are the one genre that will always hold value. I am by no means a flipper and I truly follow the sport of baseball. It is good to see the hobby making a comeback, but be leery of the bubble we are in. Although I feel it will not be to the magnitude of the 90's, I believe the bubble will burst as it did during the junk wax era. Now is the time to sell for sure, and even though the card company reps say they will not repeat the mistakes of yesteryear at the end of the day it is a business. Supply and demand will obviously have an effect on the amount of cards that are printed (it already is). I hate to see folks hoarding retail boxes and then selling them for double the cost, and I truly feel bad for folks just getting back in to the hobby who by the blasters at unfair prices. I guess it really comes down to if you want to risk investing or collecting, and if you do invest follow the sport, I mean follow it closely. I remember buying Arozarena autos (Panini) well before he was traded to the Rays, and I did so based on his minor league performance. In turn I was able to sell and buy cards I truly love to collect, and that is the beauty of this hobby.

Can somebody please explain to me why anyone would spend thousands of dollars for a sports card in 2020? To me, they're basically small pictures of players on shiny cards. Where is the value coming from? Even for a player like Giannis or Luka .. why is a trading card more or near the same value of a large photograph of them or an autographed jersey? Im genuinely curious and confused as to why millenials/Gen Z/Gen X kids (future generations) would see any value in trading cards, regardless the player. I understand investing in cards because their value is rising … but why is their value rising?

I'm investing into Ja Morant , the way him and Jackson play puts a smile on my face cuz it reminds me of my all time favorite how D Rose and Deng played. He could possibly be one of the greatest but only time can tell.
