Learning to deal with failure aka losing is essential .. competion is good - it’s human - it’s reality -
I think we should consider how important it is to fester the competitive spirit and not stop people who are upset when they lose .. irs not “just a game” for some and that’s ok .. like other things are ok .. competitive DNA is a gift not soemrhing that should be tempered

I Think that so much of the world's unhappiness and anxiety is based on the fact that we eliminated or demonized competition at the Youth Level The idea that eighth place trophies are a good idea is a huge mistake in my one person's opinion. You don't want kids to feel bad because they're not good at baseball, but to completely eliminate Merit and the human Spirit has led to a lot of collateral issues: I think competition is good I think losing is good I think crying after a baseball game is good and I think we've created it to be bad and I think it's worth the debate. In society, we're blaming a lot of unhappiness on social media. Social media is the proxy. What's underneath that is people's inability to have judgment from others.

Social media is filled with greedy ads… that should not be the proxy for our emotions!

The kids didn't ask for the trophies, the parents used their kids (millennials) as a do-over for their gen-x children who always knew more than their parents did.

My mom refused to put up any of my artwork on the fridge when I was growing up. She told me, when you get ‘good’ I’ll put it up – giving me a huge goal to reach!! I’ve stuck with it & I’ve been a pro artists for tv for many years because someone didn’t lie to me & tell me I’m wonderful when I wasn’t!! ❤️ sometimes kindness doesn’t look like it but I am REAL thanks to my mom & I know good work when I see it – just don’t ask me to critique someone else’s work, I tear shreds because I want to be kind for you . . .

Gary wtf man? Get a Macys ballon for Vee Friends next year. I clearly see what Macys is doing with ToysRUs. I would buy a classic Geoffrey toyRUs NFT (Hint Hint) if you were to ever take over that future bank department.

    Kids effin miss toysRus dude!

Meh, competition in monopolies is the bigger evil. Kids still cry if they get 8th place.

Once I cried cause I lost one on one in basketball against my friend. My mother came and didn’t let me cry. She told me: “what the fuck are you doing crying for a lost game, get up and go to practice so you can win next time.” And from then on my loses are equal to more practice ❤
