The reason so many people micromanage and don't delegate is they're concern that it's going to get messed up and they don't want to deal with the client's issues. The power of good intent. You didn't intend for it to go poorly. You put the best people in place that you can to the best in your ability.

The power of accountability when something goes wrong. I'm sorry and I'm going to take care of it is actually what you want to be doing, not trying to fix it before it happened.
