Hire your best friends and family. I Have a very different point of view. Like that's such a common thing, right? Like don't hire friends and family I Think it's the complete reverse. The first five employees is everything.

Hire friends and family and then try to turn everybody else into friends and family. right? Like Like everybody in my life makes fun of me that I only have my only friends are like my employees like I can't help it Like I don't know like it is what it is. So I think um, it'd be very human with them. Be vulnerable, be transparent, be candorous.

Try to teach too many people, have too much of their self-esteem wrapped up in them being the best at their thing. When they hire employees, it completely them up. The biggest reason people don't grow teams is because of ego. Like maybe the first person won't be right, but you can't worry about who you're gonna hire before you hire them.

meaning like, you know what's gonna happen they're gonna You're Gonna Lose the client. Okay, but if you don't grow, you won't grow. Thank you. You're welcome.

Thanks.

Nope friends and family always think they can slack and get over on ya treat your employees like family and you'll have a good business

Love hearing this from you Gary! It's how we do things as well. But there is also a ton of people who don't mean well out there. People who can't be family, for no good reason really, but somehow, somewhy, they just can't

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bob Ugee says:

Not a good advice. Unprofessional business advice. You can start with your friends and family, but you can't sustain business growth with the same approach.

Conversely, I would say; Hire based on your business needs. The skills set required to produce the needed output should be the main reason you should choose who to hire, not because they are friends or family.

But what if they aren't actually good at their skill set or are just plane lazy? I keep trying to do business with the people around me, but they are constantly dropping the ball.

Great point, and we might have different perspective of this question: some might crush it because they employ their family/friends and some will bankrupt because of the family/friends. At the end of the day, do what's best fit you and suitable.

As Oprah told Lindsay: “You need to cut the bullshit. YOU REALLY DO.”

Also, you’re another one of those straight-acting homosexuals. If you’re MINGLING with them in a SUSPICIOUS way, then you are one of them. Quit with the “I say ‘bro’ and ‘dude’ a lot and curse a lot so that automatically means that I’m more heterosexual than the typical heterosexual man” theatre. It’s SO fucking preposterous and out-of-touch with reality. For starters, Hugh Hefner was a POLYAMOROUS heterosexual man and he wasn’t running around screaming “BRO, DUDE, BRUH… LIKE CHILL BRO. RELAX BRUH. NAH BRUH. BRO. BRO. BRO. BRO. BRO.” and hurling obscenities to the point ENOUGH is ENOUGH.
