Americans always talk about baseball and basketball cards, but what you REALLY want to be holding are hockey cards, particularly vintage as the supply is fixed. Whether or not you like the sport, hockey was always huge in Canada, but not so much in the USA. So historically Americans bought baseball and basketball while Canadians bought hockey, on average. The thing is, that the USA has 10 times the population of Canada. The popularity ratio oof the hockey and other sports between regions has remained constant…so far. This means that for any year you go back to, overrall there has always been far less hockey cards produced than baseball or basketball. But with the internet now, the market has the potential to shift. Personal hockey card collections can be sold on eBay. I'm not saying that Americans WILL start buying hockey cards, but if the trend ever moves that way, you definitely want to be holding some because the supply is much smaller and the price will definitely move up to more upside than baseball cards or basketball cards ever could. As a card collector, if that market shifted, I sure wouldn't want to be the guy who DOESN'T have hockey cards in his collection, I'll say that much

I am a eBay Poshmark reseller, my dad gave me his whole basketball card collection, nascar collection and know nothing about it. Been digging into the cars but the cards are confusing. It’s literally hundreds!!!!!!
