people need to understand that strategy consultants (e.g., GaryVee) do not need the whole story from a client (or non paying people on this show) … the consultant will ask a very specific question to gain clarity so that they can provide the specific solution or recommendation to help that person or company improve their specific situation. Seasoned consultants often times will know what the client will say before they open their mouth nevertheless, its best to ask and not assume. If a client hesitates before their answer … that can be very telling. The clients micro expressions can reveal a lot as well.

I commonly misjudge a lot of these callers in the first twenty seconds and then realize what an idiot I was for doing so in the minutes that follow. It's teaching me a lot about how much more judgmental I am than I had realized. I appreciate you Gary and all these wonderful hard working people trying to not only make a good life for themselves but ALSO help others along the way. It's incredibly inspiring.
