Once every now and then, I do live phone calls where I really “go there” with a caller and make sure they leave with no excuses.
Today, I’m super excited to share one of those calls with you 😉
I took a call last week on Instagram live from Matt, a young guy who was debating on getting his GED and going into the army before trying out an acting career in LA.
I stayed on the phone with him for 14 minutes and suffocated his excuses — and I think this clip will help many of you suffocate yours.

Being an actor is my dream as well, this comment will be the prove that i start working my ass off to make this happen, i hope the dude in the phone can make it like I do in the future, good luck on both of us.
Sometimes it feels like Gary is a big bully, a good bully to have in your life. But sustaining the pressure he puts on people requires dedication than just listening to him. Its a difficult line to walk.
Gary is so 100% right on this! I'm 57, always fancied myself an actor, never did squat about it and at this stage know I never will. And it's not the end of the world, but man, I wish I'd at least tried!
"most people do a ton of shit to protect themselves from ever finding out their truth". The fears of finding out that you suck at something that you truly desire to experience or achieve, paralyzes you to the degree that you end up running away in a distant path that you don't desire.

Gary Vee I used to be positive about myself. Outgoing, fun, joking, uplifting kinda guy. Until one day I listened to my controlling parents telling me I couldn't get married because I have a weak bladder and I would embarrass myself.😥 Now I just sit at home watching other people live life to the fullest It sucks help!
