Obviously this was a loaded question/situation, but I really want to put emphasis on the fact that being 28 years old means that you still have 60 more years of execution. So many people think that 28 is a good time to start playing it safe by buying a house, getting married, and settling down, when in actuality, you have so much time! Don't look at other people to get bearings on where you are in your life. Everyone has their own clock.

Just turned 28. I want to do a business, I already know what and how to do it. I just dont have money still lol…. I want to retire early, what my concerns are is that im getting old and that if i prioritize marriage first then I will not have money after that. That is why I wanna start early and not get married yet

thank you for this, I'm 26 and have a house and a wife whom i cherish and yet still feel like I'm behind for some weird reason. Comparisons are really the true thief of joy sometimes and it's hard to get out of that mindset. I lost my father due to suicide and it really messed me up and since then I've been trying to navigate through life using my own internal advice but there is nobody there to calm me down and just help me gain that fresh perspective of where I'm at. I have a decent amount of single guy friends who say they are jealous of what I have but I never understand that because I always imagine somebody who is my age who has more than I do. I know it's stupid and more times than not I tend to be grateful and feel blessed for where I am in life, but I feel like if I'm not creating some crazy empire or getting shredded and making tons of friends and money, then something is missing. Sometimes it's hard to tune out the noise of what others deem as a good life versus what you think success is personally.

I’m turning 28 in 2 weeks as of writing this. Here’s where I’m at currently…

I started my own little pool cleaning/repair business when I was 25. Prior to 25, I was an absolute nobody. Never held down a job, never had much ambition or goals. Just coasting through life. Then I said “fuck it, I live in South Florida. I’m sure I could probably start a Pool Business. God knows there’s plenty of pools around here.” And so I just went for it. Invested about $15,000. $3000 for a used SUV that had a hitch on it thank God, $2500 on the vacuum, and then a bunch of other money was outside stashed away for a down payment on the brand new 2022 Toyota Tacoma, that I just got. Fast forward, I’m paying $400 a month for rent (yeah I know that’s ridiculously cheap, I got extremely lucky) and here I am 2 years later just now starting to make enough money to stash away. Currently have like $1,500 in my checking and about $3,000 in savings. Monthly income is roughly $3,000 a month which ain’t bad for east coast south Florida. Especially when I’ve got my girlfriend (she’s 23) working full time helping me pay half of everything. We are comfortable renting a nice huge ass master bedroom. It’s all we’ve got and I still feel like I’m only getting started and I’ve already achieved a lot for myself. I still feel like a 19 year old kid most days. Age ain’t nothing but a number…. That is until you start getting into your 50’s then yeah you’ll probably start feeling old realistically. But in any case, 28 is young as shit. Got plenty of time man. We all do.

    Im 26-almost 27
Im struggling with work and I feel like I don’t get any chance to really learn anything at said jobs. I feel like im failing my life. Im struggling with myself. I spend so much time being my wifes Full time around the clock care giver unpaid since we got together. I spend 18 hours watching over her and helping her with so much. But in the end all i ever get is shit on. What should i do Should i move out of state and try again?.

Being 28 is scary. Just when I got my acne, mental health and fitness together I started to develop a few faint wrinkles around my eyes and grey hairs popping up from time to time. It's like an endless cycle. I feel like I missed out on my 20s completely.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nokukhanya says:
