Just saw this on LinkedIn, really love what you're preaching here, it's what I've been telling people for years. Anyhow one more piece of advice, get to real talk with your client ASAP, the sooner you can get their guard down the better, and the sooner you can identify the truth and needs of the customer.
Did Gary just contradict the advice he gives about DM'ing people??
Excellent!
Hope you had a great August… looking forward to the next 12 months. P.S. you and Casey Neistat are the two people that whatever pre-roll ad comes on I watch(let run) to make sure you get paid… because you bring so much value to us! Thanks
Mr. Gary, in school they told us that. When doing business in other countries do NOT use idioms as they may be offensive to other cultures, however I feel stifled when I just want to use the word tubular.
Thank you for the advice Mr. Gary!!!
Thank you
We love youu!!
Is this new format permanent? I hope Gary realizes his views and interaction completely took a nose dive since stopping the regular daily vlogs and clips.
Going to bring many people favorite # up, but idc mine was 7. I think Gary Vaynerchuk posted this video to let us know he follows culture. The MMA mention was a cue to those if you were going to miss the ending song. Even he believes in the shifts in culture. That "sad" vibes is already here. The XXXTentacion is going to thrive. Taylor Swift knows it, etc and I can go on. Most importantly Gary Vaynerchuk knows it. Gary Vaynerchuk I've been watching your corporate crusade since June 2016. I was a denyer at first and thought you were all Bullshit. You surprised me, I can truly say that. Your real asf! And you providing providing a busload of value in a systematic way, keeping up trends with culture and watching the differences in shifts and movements, and most of all just disrupting shows that what your doing and how far ahead of the future your in. But what has me worked up is that you actually scared me. I thought I was ahead because I knew stuff people weren't willing to know or taking action that was strange behaviors towards other. The fact that I'm commenting this means to me that I'm not the only one who felt they were ahead. Your giving all this information to people who have easy access to the same tools everyone else has for free. I was mad at first, for you making it so convenient for them, but your actions say it all. We know your ahead of the game now, we got that. Now, what don't you know?
I know my audience, because it's small and wonderful, and I don't spam or sell. Interesting to hear a different perspective on that.
Willing body hit me up
Couldn't have said it more better than you Gary! I've always focused my efforts around building relationships and developing long lasting contacts. I'm a true practitioner of providing upfront value to earn the attention & time before ever considering asking for any sale. I often don't ever need to go in for the ask because they come to me inquiring on what I'm up to and what I do!
Best thing you said…the good sales person takes the time to understand their customers & bring value to them. That means so much. Nothing turns me off like being treated as a number or a box to tick off by a sales person. Being treated as special & feeling like the sales person is providing real value to me is the only way I pay any attention at all.
I would have a hard time interviewing someone with that ridiculous wool hat (in the summer). (Sorry Gary, love your content)
In case you read this Gary I want to thank you. Your pushing of self awareness has really helped me to understand where I am most likely to succeed(not as an entrepreneur) and be happiest. I wasn't all that aware of what I wanted to do before I started consuming your content and now I have a much better understanding of myself thanks to you, and I am extremely greatful for that. I am opposite of you in some respects (I'm a sports and exercise science major and understand I do need some formal education to get into that industry). I have fascinated by the sales, marketing ad branding scene. I love the positivity you bring through your dailyee and gary vaynerchuck audio experience. Thank you for being such a help I can't express in words how grateful I am.
Thanks Gary, this speaks volumes to what it is to be in sales in TODAYS world, which I find many senior managers, still stuck in the 90's and early 2000's sales mentality fail to realize. The world is changing faster than you think, and when you figure it out, it's changed again.
