Right on, Gary, 100%. There are those out there that just can't see why someone would share value without asking for a credit card number on the back-end.
It's the difference between short and long-term thinking… and besides, it feels good to give value and even better when you hear back later from those same people that thank you for the benefit they got out of it and hear their stories.
And though you don't give with the intent to get, you just can't help but get greater value down the road this way.
