Gary Vaynerchuk builds businesses. Fresh out of college he took his family wine business and grew it from a $3M to a $60M business in just five years. Now he runs VaynerMedia, one of the world's hottest digital agencies. Along the way he became a prolific angel investor and venture capitalist, investing in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Birchbox before eventually co-founding VaynerRSE, a $25M angel fund.
The #AskGaryVee Show is Gary's way of providing as much value value as possible by taking your questions about social media, entrepreneurship, startups, and family businesses and giving you his answers based on a lifetime of building successful, multi-million dollar companies.
Gary is also a prolific public speaker, delivering keynotes at events like Le Web, and SXSW, which you can watch right here on this channel.

Here from Andy's story!
I want this as an NFT
"Exit Through the Gift Shop" is Banksy's documéntary, not Brainwash. And Thierry Guetta (Brainwash), doesn't come out very well from it. I wouldn't consider Brainwash a street artist but really he is a hustler. You should watch it, Gary, I think you are going to find it fascinating
Gary is right, “You’ve got to provide value up front.”
Great soft entrepreneur answer
My 9/11 story – I remember listening to Howard Stern as it was happening. I remember being scared and angry at the same time. I remember going to a gas station, and the manager appeared to be Middle Eastern – he was very scared. He looked at me and said "my friend… you're my friend" And I said "you're my friend." And we shook hands. I will never forget that.
I remember walking home that day, from school, I didn't know what was going on. So ass usual I walked in, went to say hi to my mom. I walk into her office (homeoffice) and it's on the television in the news. My hair just went up watching it struck with awe…
wtf, yeh
About being to soft… I AM but, when ppl get a hand and they want to shew your arm of… permission to go really hard! otherwise it's not hard or soft really. It's business. It's two people or more making a deal and delivering on it! It's not about the money, it's about the deal, and that word is bond like you always say… So when they decide to get aggressive and try to steal your work and trouble, then you owe it to the other people you service to tear their house down. It's Karma and leaving sickening people like that in business is just bad for everybody in the community. Ultimately that's the differentiator and you're left no choice.
On the other hand… If we can be friends, if we can play it nice, respectful, caring and take care of one another it's a win win and I will absolutely go out of my way to make sure that not only do these people get their money, but the get my gratitude, they get my recommendations, they get little extra's. They get to go home with a bottle of wine and tell their spouse like "Hey.. Look here, my client was really grateful today. It was a good day and let's drink this together and celebrate."
this really happened years ago before I knew about you. It just makes sense, it's just ppl
Been a lurker for a year now….this one got my 100% attention…ThankYou!
Came home to my mother balling her eyes out watching the television.
Did see 911 live on CNBC as I came home from work. After work my TV was CNBC studying financial English… Thank you so much Gary!
I was a Sergeant in the Marines stationed in Okinawa Japan. – I remember that over the shock and tragedy we were stronger & united as ever as a nation on that day.
I'm not american, nor do I live in the US (though I would love to!! so if anybody it's in the search for an Architect with project and construction experience please let me know!! – little Right Hook for the Vnation -). I actually was at school that day, and we gather around the TV room (yeah, there where TV rooms at schools back in my days) as the news spread. I remember that day as if we where seeing a movie or something! It didn't seemed real! I had been to NY before and got to see the Twin Towers, they where amazing!!! Then I went back in 2012 and got to see Ground Zero but couldn't see the memorial because it wasn't finished… I hope I do get to go back soon to visit it as I've been told it's amazing! After all, the feelings that day brings up on people takes my breath away… I just can say you all should be proud of yourselves and always remember!
