Sometimes I think people give him too much praise for trying to "be real" he didn't give any proper advice other than go somewhere else. He only wanted to rave about his marketing agency. I am beginning to have second thoughts about this guy.

Thank you Gary V. After graduating this May without a marketing degree it seemed "beneath" me to get an internship instead of applying for a full time job. Here's to a mouthful of humble pie and getting an internship at a marketing agency that I really believe in.
Marketers 'ruin everything' by not understanding that not everything is about commerce – there are other aspects to human existence – but any of the good ones tend to attract large numbers of people, so it is irresistible to them.
