The is karma like wait a minute, so you're telling me like, if you do lots of good things, that weirdly good things happen to you yeah. That seems like common sense. I will say this. I believe that karma is the single most practical energy in the world.
Would it not make sense to our practical brains that, if you're doing something good for somebody else, that that puts you in a leveraged position for something good to happen? To you like doing the right thing is always the right thing that is actually how humans work. It's why we're still here humans are inherently phenomenal. This is what's so me up about our culture right now, like people are so confused right now, because there's so much political tension, there's so much anger, there's so much stuff going on in our world pre-coveted that people are super confused like the way you actually win. Is by doing all the nicest humanly possible, like nice, guys win like this whole like nice, guys, you know finished last makes me laugh, it's just not true.
Nice guys might be losing at halftime, but they win the game. Nice guys always win and the people that are listening down be like not. For me, everybody takes advantage of me. You're, manipulating you're, doing things that look kind, because you want something in return.
True kindness, pure kindness, is undefeated we're in a world where a lot of thoughts of collaborations and things you do you're thinking about what comes to you after you do giving without expectation, has been one of the core pillars of my success. You know why i'm so happy. I have zero expectation of others nobody's ever. Let me down it's insane to me how little somebody lets me down.
I helped somebody get into a deal. It was closed. I reopened. The deal got them in.
They made millions of dollars on a fifty 000 investment. A couple years later, my second book came out. I said yo bro. Can you buy a bunch, i'm just trying to sell as many as possible dude it had nothing.
For me, i made a millions of dollars. Other people, i met one time one time and they were buying hundreds everybody's different, but i would tell you it was stunning to me how much it didn't bother me. I took note because i knew i could tell this story one day right and i knew that it would be a great lesson, but it it was. I was unfazed because that's just the way it is, you can't live by giving without expecting anything in return and then knowing i always tell people karma is practical.
You.
i agree with him, but it's not how "nice guys" is defined. what he's talking about, thats something typical "nice guys" would never do. another thing about karma – it's adding to society without expecting anything in return. so it's a "philosophy of work", more than a "practical way of working"
I guess by nice guys the quote is referring to people who are afraid to show their authentic self due to the fear of rejection by others .They pretend to be nice to be liked .
With women, the nice guys always finish last. That’s just the facts.
Like the tides of the ocean and the cycles of the 🌙. What goes around, comes around. The ying yang symbol is historic art for a reason. Universal balance. Put good out into the world and it will come back like a 🧲 when needed. Do good onto others. 💯
I mean there’s tons of terrible people that won’t face any consequences for the lives they ruined, that’s why I don’t really believe in Karma.
In the business world, yes, but when dating, being nice definitely makes you finish last.
With all due respect to you Gary, I have been following your content for a long time but I think you are taking half the truth about the idea of karma. You said that if you do good things you will get good results in return but if this is true then on the other hand if you do bad things Bad things will happen to you too. Right then why are there so many people who have done so many terrible things who do not get bad things in return and there are people who do good but everything that happens to them in return is not good at all. I think the idea of karma is ridiculous to the extreme. It's just a fragile shield to protect people's so-called The Fair World. If karma was real, then the world would be a Fair place. But I don't see the world we live in as a Fair place, my friend.
I have watched a ton of your content, this is by far the best piece I have seen. Thanks Gary!
Tell that to all the slores that banged all the douches with abs that go on to bang they’re friends, etc
Don't give with the expectation of getting things in return, give to be proud of the person you are.
I mean this quote was for dating word if you are too nice to girls no girl will give you…yes…
At what point do you seperate being kind from being used because your nice.
I tend not to care as much anymore because I was that nice person that did everything for people and family but got nothing in return. When it was my turn to ask for help everybody had excuses.
"True kindness is undefeated"
Yeah, but it's also super hard when you're not used to it 🙂 Not impossible, but hard.
I try to do good to people, because if you do good to someone, they will remember what you did for them.
Very true! What you put out in the world is what comes back to you. Or as the bible says, What you reap you sow. That's the secret to a successful life. Thank you, Gary!!
