Data is extremely important, but it's what you do with the data afterwards that is the most important thing. This was a great opportunity for me to talk about some things I don't normally get into.

Great talk!
HI Gary, Love your energy and tell it like it is approach. I write children's books, love writing children's books. Marketing though… a mystery. Which of your books would most likely help me get started? What can I do to start taking the right steps in the marketing / branding process? I "rather be writing" the books, but the books are piling up and I am dying to share them! I have a day job — pays the bills, the writing is a dream, a creative outlet I cannot stop… love my stories , characters and collaborating with others — writers , artists. I'd love to get the books known, and selling and catch the eye of Scholastic Magazine too! I just need the right plan or beginning path to get the process started. Any hints… I listen a lot to your pods, website, but it's so overwhelming. Can I really balance home, family, day job and the writing dream? I've written 6 story books and self published on Amazon, and have 60 more original stories ready to write, illustrate and publish. Whew, now I need to learn the marketing part to support and move the writing process ahead! Thanks again for sharing so much advice from you past successes.
Always love ***** !
Did you find our tweet?@:)
Good stuff Gary V.
Still so good and more and more informative. Your Keynotes are spot fukin on. Cheers!
For years I have been saying I would gladly give away my personal interest data.. I LOVE that I am finally starting to see that 90% of advertising is related to my interests.
This is why more creatives will be invited into the corporate world because corporates understand how it all works but are unable to engage at the next level and do the human part at the right time
I still have difficulties understanding what Gary means by story telling. Is it a way to show people how your product can be useful to them or I just don't seem to get it?
Thank you in advance
About 6+ minutes in, Gary hits a concept I have been preaching since 2006: anti-scaling is a key concept too! 1on1 is important too.
agreed
Thanks for the insight Gary and for showing us where we are at and where we need to go! Kuddos!
Gary, I would say this is your best talk in recent times. It was to the point and full of great information.
Time and again its common sense talk from the big influencer
Gary: You sir are a genius. You've inspired me to create value, DO big things, make magic & give back. I'm DOING – Thank YOU.
