Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about, guys. Too much bulls**t in corporate America!

I love that he uploads all his talks and keynotes on his channel.
I heard him say "a ton of people look the same," but again I didn't hear him making an explicit reference to race or gender. There could have been an implicit meaning. I'm black, and I don't ignore that race can and/or does play a factor, whether subtle or in-your-face. With that, I just don't think that was the point in this piece. Maybe if I heard the entire thing, and had some context of race coming up before. There's no right or wrong here, just a difference of our ear for his point.
Nice, people are scared to voice their opinion. I think Seth G talks about that as well.
Hearing this, I kept thinking about the adage of knowing the rules so that you can break them. I see the "slave to process" every day. I frequently question why things are done a certain way – either because it seems inefficient or just stupid — and the reactions ranges from annoyance to pure shock. I've always learned that the worst that can come from asking a question, or trying something differently, is you hear no. Sometimes you have to push the envelope. Sometimes you need to tear it up!
Interesting. I don't think that he was talking about race. I took that expression to be about everyone having the same viewpoint, or prescribed way of doing things, and no one willing to do things differently.
Appreciate the response, Gary! I'm coming to see you speak in Columbus, OH on the 12th. Hope to get the chance to meet you in person.
Gary who got the logo? you or your Dad? I say your dad. Just from what I hear you say about him.
Gary replaces the bullshit in business with heart and he wins. It's truly incredible. I wish Gary could give a keynote speech at the US House and Senate. Explain "Jab Jab Jab right Hook" to our government.
I wish I could click like about 50 times on this video. Holy cow
I think it's described as an ideal candidate. If you approach them with equivalent experience then I'd be surprised if you weren't given the same kind of consideration.
Gary, I completely agre that college is a huge scam. After recently graduating with a marketing degree in July, I've gotten a job as a data analyst doing absolutely nothing that I learned in college… 32 grand later..
However, this brings me to my question.. If college is a waste, why does every open position at VaynerMedia require a bachelors degree or higher education?
