Maybe you should take the money you save on TV ads and try spending it on employees who care about your end users!
Maybe don't buy an ad in the Yellow Pages this year. Trust me. You'd be better off using smoke signals.
People always want to know how to advertise their business. You're a multi billion dollar company - stop wasting your money on commercials that nobody watches! How about you take that money and hire 9 people to actually care about your end user. What a concept, how are we going to do this? I don’t know stop throwing cash down the toilet on marketing dollars. Maybe not buy a yellow pages ad this year, because you won’t need it I can promise you that. That’s my advice on how to advertise and market your business.

Snippet of Truth
Tried to subscribe, but it was not successful. What do I do?
Smoke signals? Big dumb companies may as we'll be using carrier pigeons.
Ads deter me from buying said product.
And this proves his point. You saw a youtube ad. that cost probably $0.33 for you to see. As apposed to the hundreds of thousands that companies spend for television ads that no one watches. Those are the commercials he is talking about.
Smart
He paid for this youtube ad damnit
Ditto.
Bravo. I've been anti-commercial for years. Someone must think TV spots still move the needle, but they will all be retired soon. Better to give away the cash to a good cause and get some solid PR rather than spend millions on your next TV campaign.
yes lets stop marketing products and hire more workers to make the products that the people will stop buying! flawless logic
good
1 guys buys yellow pages ads…the one guy…
amen..
God damn truth. ^
So even though it does seem like it's wasteful spending on the Corporation's part, people are still getting paid. That's not all bad, right?
