I had never seen a video of you prior to roughly 2018 until tonight… and it just brings the biggest smile to my face to see that you haven't changed a bit <3 That's the kind of authenticity that our world needs more of <3
Competitive spirit definitely gives an edge in business and in life !
You have changed my life! I have watched HOURS of your material! I love what you do!
I agree 100% in the context that you have to be rationale about the competition. This is why working for a small company early in your career is such a great asset. You can feel day to day the impact of every dollar spent vs. a large company where it might feel like the money is endless and you have no direct impact.
Great video Gary.
Thanks for writing this Gary, I think people have grown to mistakingly equate competition with confrontation.
We as a society would be nowhere without competition. It is human nature to want to be more, do more, and surpass those around us in order to find meaning and fulfillment. Great video, Gary!
I think your right every business needs a person who'll break there back for you to win I'm learning loads from you about the business world and how I can execute my business and brand keep up the good work #Vaynermania!!!

the cameraman is drunk?
I really think competition adds an extra drive/passion and can put you 1 step ahead of people who aren't as competitive.
To me, competition is an intrinsic component of having drive or ambition. Part of assessing your competition is discovering their weak links and capitalizing on it by offering a better service or product. That's part of being competitive.
The only time competition is unhealthy is when co-workers undermine each other. Other than that, in the field, competitiveness or "hunger" is a must.
