i don't understand why my teachers keep telling me to study hard and go to college while they know there are many graduate who are jobless and burry in debts😂😂😂😂😂
I do that for my younger brother(cousin), he lost his mom when he was 3yrs old.

This is so necessary! It doesn't matter if you're trying to build self-esteem in children OR adults. Building self-esteem in anyone is necessary for happiness – and if you're happy, you're going to do some good. We all play a role in this game.
I think the TRUTH can be a sensible thing to preach to kids/students. Tell them if they don't stop staring at their phones all day and watching TV/movies….and don't start reading books and diverging from "what everyone else is doing", they will never experience the kind of success in life that they are capable of.
People really grew up with teachers that told them "You will be a nobody"? Wow! That's crazy. I feel so bad for you all. I'm extremely happy for those who actually made something of themselves in spite of that!

+ Gary Vaynerchuk 100% agree. I was asked by a psychiatrist once what is the one thing I wanted more than anything and I answered Self-Esteem. It breeds confidence & a more positive attitude. I am in the hole today because no one really fostered that in me growing up, instead I was bullied relentlessly by peers and made to feel that my good was never good enough by adults. I wasn't born with the ability to overcome, so instead I became stuck in a life I don't want and continue to fail at what I really want.

stop poisoning the youth by lowering their self esteems, making them feel like they're not intelligent and turning them into robots
I never had one teacher focus so directly on building the self-esteem of their students, but having 95% of my teachers and professors be generally supportive helped.
