Gary used the opportunity to clarify that while there is a great opportunity to make some extra money in this space, you should only get involved if you are educated, interested, and excited by doing so. If you are strictly in it for the money and do not have an underlying interest in Pokemon (or any trading card) it can do more harm than good. Gary..you say you are putting lots of money on the table for happiness because you enjoy Pokémon cards but really you are a business man and you are thinking of future gain value because it will go up. Don’t lie! Lol I’m sure you like Pokémon…but I think you like what it will get you in the future. Money money money is what you are. And that’s ok. That’s honest.
Do any of you even play the pokemon trading card game? Or only look at the hobby as a get rich quick scheme? Scalpers are just ruining it altogether, the quality of the prints has even gone down as pokemon company rushes to meet demand from tools like this and the money grab mindset. So we all lose from those that want to pull that money card to the kids and local community who play the game.
Rushed reprints that have no value.
Now pokemon cards are sold out everywhere. And the new prints are being rushed and coming out crap. And scalpers make the hobby way to expensive. Pokemon should not just be about making money theres much more too it for a lot of people and kids/ local communities playing the actual game. Not just about money, some enjoy the game.

I've been keeping my pokemon cards ever since I was younger. base, jungle, fossil, team rocket, movie and promo sets. I love them but I know one day if they actually go up in price, I'm probably going to sell them so I can afford better medical training and learn in a country with adequate training
