14:48 - How do you develop rituals for sleep and bedtime when your life is unpredictable as a business person and a parent and you have a lot of obligations and people contacting you at all hours of the day?

Have you had any experience using a sensory depravation tank/ float spa….word is half an hour of sleep in the tank is worth about 4 hours of Rem Sleep…Pretty Gnarly…Your brother Would/Could benefit greatly from it.!
Jesus Christ, can he please stop interrupting her?
If you tap into zeitgeist you have the wind behind you
The best quality sleep is before midnight. As a general rule, the National Sleep Foundation recommend falling asleep somewhere between 8 p.m. and midnight. They also recommend 7-9 hours of sleep per night. Power naps are welcome too. Social media detox 1 hour before going to bed is also important to relax. Music for relaxation, aromatherapy and relaxing baths are also very helpful. And as we are product of habit, yes, it's important to have a sound relaxation routine. Because well-being is paramount to success. You cannot perform at 100% if you’re functioning at 10%!
Loved this episode!! Especially the part about sleep 💙
She's so witty and funny! So much wisdom, I learned a lot from this video
I was very distracted at first since she starts off seemingly dismissive of our country’s protection measures. But I need to sleep and we all have flaws so here I am.
No me gusto la entrevista ya que ese muchacho se la paso interrumpiendo .
She is like Caring Mom!!! So sweet!!!
I was raised that sleep depravity is good, means you work hard, you're not lazy. I woke up to the fact it is bad right after I watched this video, 50 years of living with the incorrect mindset wondering why it's taken me so long to succeed.
I need a good 8 to 9 hours a night.
"Don't buy a bag, buy a hotel room." G SHIT.
How has Gary not used that phrase on video since then!? "Put your own oxygen mask on first". What a great way to put that.
Cliffs from the first 15 minutes:
– Most people NEED 7-9 hours, unless you have a genetic mutation which lets you get away with 4-6
– On days you fall short, take a 20 minute nap sometime during the day
– Have a routine to wind down at the end of the day
– You cheat yourself by not getting your required sleep, because you won't be nearly as productive. Be honest with yourself on how much you need.
– Gary usually gets 6-7, and up to 11 on the weekends
– Huffington gets 8 hours, most days
