ADORE this episode!! I loved it when it first aired and I LOVE it more today.

QOTD: 42 … I originally answered that 40 was the most meaningful … and it was for sure. 30 was amazing as well. Itโ€™s impossible to explain a feeling … I just felt a shift on my 30 and 40th birthday. Unfortunately … I wasnโ€™t ready to really and truly go all in on my own hype and big mouth. I will NEVER forget the year I turned 42. My best friend … one of the greatest loves of my life (homies for 33 years) took her life. She changed EVERYTHING!!! She taught me that I was totally full of shit and playing a small game out of FEAR. It was only then that I started to make serious moves in my life. I stopped caring about the opinion of others (including my families and friends). I stopped living for everyone else and FINALLY put myself first. I moved to my dream city NYC and the rest will be for the history books. Not a day goes by that I donโ€™t miss my darling friend. I hope and pray that someone reads this and finally takes action … ONE LIFE BABY!!! CHERISH IT!! THANK YOU 4L GV!! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ

I love how Gary says it's all about the passion and oxygen. There's nothing else. He doesn't even contemplate about the practical like making a lot of money. Haha.

QOtD Has to be 30… Man did I not feel right at that time! For me it was going nowhere. I could have kept on going like that for 50 years, and I would have ended with little except the gratification of helping out family. Noble enough, and I'm happy to do it for little to no money, but I too one day will be old, life will have passed, and I will have had my dreams or not. Will have something left or not. Soon after we remedied that, but that too has become quite the challenge as people aren't really happy to see me mover forward…
