Gary Vaynerchuk builds businesses. Fresh out of college he took his family wine business and grew it from a $3M to a $60M business in just five years. Now he runs VaynerMedia, one of the world's hottest digital agencies. Along the way he became a prolific angel investor and venture capitalist, investing in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Birchbox before eventually co-founding VaynerRSE, a $25M angel fund.
The #AskGaryVee Show is Gary's way of providing as much value value as possible by taking your questions about social media, entrepreneurship, startups, and family businesses and giving you his answers based on a lifetime of building successful, multi-million dollar companies.
Gary is also a prolific public speaker, delivering keynotes at events like Le Web, and SXSW, which you can watch right here on this channel.

Gary is a machine. I know how hard it is to creat content frequently and consistently. And this guy just doesn't stop. Okay, now he has a whole crew helping him, but this guy wouldn't stop from day one when he was just a one man company 🔥🔥🔥

Definitely a tremendous question. That is the type of deep question I enjoy hearing an answer for.

If a teacher tells you that you are genuinely special and pushes you (like a bunch of mine did) believe them and prove them right. Make their voice in your head louder and focus on what makes you the best at what you do

recap: self awareness is King when it comes to self development.

Recap: I believe the more self-aware we are the more it allows us to get out of our comfort zone. We can put all the external (and internal) pressures aside and know exactly what we are capable of if we push ourselves. A Pro football player is self-aware he is awesome but still pushes himself everyday at training to go further outside his comfort zone.

Find good teachers. Go deep first then round out later. Maybe.

The shoooooww always provides nuggets of advice that I need, but I really love it when Gary advises that people do something I'm already doing. That I came up with myself. My business is not successful yet, but I'm networking like crazy. Going to any event that comes along, and meeting people that aren't even in my industry, just because all of the other people there are also entrepreneurs.
