HOMEWORK OF THE DAY: Go check out Medium and Tumblr if you haven't.
STATEMENT OF THE DAY: How do you like the 12th floor setting?
#Timestamps:
0:00 Intro
2:22 - Were you ever reckless with any of your businesses? Flowers, baseball cards, wine, etc...
3:50 - 1st Glenn Beck and now the Kardashians. Are subscription media sites the next celeb frontier? And will you have one?
6:42 - My girlfriend of 4+ years and I just broke up, and I'm feeling depressed as fuck. For the last 4 years, I've had someone to talk to about literally everything in my life, and now, that's gone. I feel empty. I feel a void. I feel blank. Got any advice on how to pick the pieces of my life back up?
10:11 - Is Medium the new Tumblr? What happened to Tumblr anyway?
12:58 - How would you best deal with vulturous unethical investors? Would you put them on blast?

this statement of the day seems suspiciously like a question of the day!! I like floor 12 – If m business plans don't pan out and I need a 9 to 5 I'd love to work for vayner and this feels cool for me. like a sneak peak.

I'm too much of a control freak right now with my embryo of a business to be dealing with investors, but as and when I am, I'll take this under advisement.

Sad breakup story. I've been there. It sux. Gary, I am surprised the businessman in you didn't jump on the fact that he had been saving so obviously had a bit of a lump sum of cash that could be used to throw himself into an entrepreneurial venture even just to get his mind off it and make up for the extra time he now has. Just a thought.

We would say to the guy who split with his girl to take time for yourself… get away… cut loose… dealing with separation isn't easy but drinking booze with your boys isn't going to make it better. Sleeping with new girls could take the edge off as Gary said but it is time to do some deep self enquiry about why this happened and learn the lessons from it. Love yourself through this time and take the time to do some aspecting. Aspecting means calling in your ex energetically and sitting down with her and saying what you need to say. Or you can write letters and burn them. Do something to get the emotions out your system. We would also recommend joining a gym or crossfit (if you aren't there already) or another group fitness class and focus on buffing yourself up.

People are already paying for content monthly: cable, web services, e-news. If there is value consumers pay.
