#QOTD: Give me your 2 cents on the "One is Greater Than Zero" Film - http://youtu.be/4fsYWXrGGcE
#Timestamps:
0:00 Intro
01:48 - On Facebook the separate business pages are easy to handle, on Twitter I can switch between accounts on my iphone with ease, but Instagram (!!!!), do I need separate accounts that the app hasn't made it easy to handle, or is there a way to successfully use one account for all 3 things without it being sh*t, jumbled and ineffective?
03:59 - They say you should hire slow and fire quick...how many chances do you give your staff?
06:55 - Do you think brands need to be represented across ALL social platforms? Or just the most popular ones?
08:51 -I import wines from Le #Marche Italy and sell via ecomm & thru distributors. Currently focusing on obtaining new distribution and have fallen behind on the ecomm side. Question: what % of my time should be split between each side of the business/what's a good way to balance the 2?
11:21 - I'm smiling in this pic but really I'm holding back tears and my heart is heavy cause Seahawks lost and I bet 225, 225...That's like 4 Xbox games and a Arizona. I've listened to Drake, The Weeknd, Jhene Aiko, and even PartyNextDoor but the pain is too much, how do I cope?

ASK GARY A QUESTION: https://www.garyvaynerchuk.com/what-youll-need-to-get-garyvee-945936926.html
I've talked about not being crippled by hiring anybody, because if they aren't good you can just fire them. But for the first 15 years of my career I was not good with this. I hated it, there is nothing positive to firing anyone, I would always justify an excuse for them. I've learned that in the long run, letting someone go is better for both parties.
One thing that I'm very proud of here at Vaynermedia and Winelibrary is that when an employee is let go, people aren't surprised because they could already feel it coming. A question to ask yourself is do you have the emotional EQ? and the people skills to do the firing?
If not, find someone who does and hire them to take that position. As I always say, work on your strengths.
Gary Vaynerchuk builds businesses. Fresh out of college he took his family wine business and grew it from a $3M to a $60M business in just five years. Now he runs VaynerMedia, one of the world's hottest digital agencies. Along the way he became a prolific angel investor and venture capitalist, investing in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Birchbox before eventually co-founding VaynerRSE, a $25M angel fund.
The #AskGaryVee Show is Gary's way of providing as much value value as possible by taking your questions about social media, entrepreneurship, startups, and family businesses and giving you his answers based on a lifetime of building successful, multi-million dollar companies.
Gary is also a prolific public speaker, delivering keynotes at events like Le Web, and SXSW, which you can watch right here on this channel.

I think the one is greater than zero video was great especially because the thesis is essentially to be humble and keep producing content without looking at what there is to gain. Basically doing the right thing is always the right thing. I also like it that it had pics of you back in the day seeing how it has 1>0 has produced results for you.
The show literally may require a note pad because itโs super detailed info.
One thing I didnโt like was the added in laugh on the size of the platform joke. Felt not so authentic which is what makes the show great because you donโt edit mistakes.
Bone thugs respect.
Hey Gary, just checked out 1>0 and love it. It's everything I stand for, It's everything I work towards and I love the way you word this thought concept and put it out in short, easy to digest content.
QOTD Answer – great video man. I understand the concept but im still trying to figure out how can I apply it in the industry I work, which is concept art and illustration for video games and film. Also I really admire that you have no issues mentioning things and strategies you would do if you were in other peoples shoes because at the end of the day its wether you are willing to execute those strategies or not. Thanks man.
It's a strong video, editing game strong!
the song I think is a little intense.
I love the message, I gotta deserve the interview, not that I want it. Not saying no, even if there is only one person there.
1>0 video was very cool (flow) and definitely needed. As you mentioned it's hard looking at more popular content creators kill it in views, followers, etc… but remembering they started with "1" just like you is sometimes hard to comprehend. Thanks for reminding your VaynerNation that it's still all about the journey not the finish line.
I liked the concept 1 is better than 0 as well as going deep in your community, not wide! Go Gary! (And DRock, India, and so on…)
one greater than zero is good. We are all people, care for people, not just for the ones you think are important.
Have a nice day!
I'm a big fan of the more tactical and specific questions!
Seems like you're keeping up this trend in current episodes as well but just wanted to show some love for that MO!
Nothing intresting on the desk in this episode??? 1>0 is really inspiring and this makes you realize that sometimes the small things can make a great difference. When i was about 11 we had a fundraising and our teacher told us that we should not feel bad to bring even a cent just because it was worth so little as one cents might be the thing you need to fill a 10 cent and the 10 cent might me what you need to fill a (being South African) rand and so on. For me this always stuck with me and made me appreciate that it might be the little things that in time will help you to reach the big things.
I feel like you are on the verge of a basic formula for reverse engineering any business challenge by using outcome based thinking.
The percentage example was great.
jailbreak and get an app duplicate
re: 1>0 – Great content, as ever, however, the music was too loud and intense sounding, the black hoodie with black background with side-lighting and the camera placed below your chin together gave a creepy effectย (hey, you're talking about perseverance and opportunity; not being an axe-murderer)ย FORTUNATELY, as you've spoken on the topic on previous shows, I got the message and I'm running with it.Hey, this time, YOU asked the question and I answered it! Happy New Year
The 1 is greater than zero video is too short. I'd like to have seen more meat in that vid
Im binge watching/listening to all ALL episodes from the beginning. It really sucks balls going from your Podcast to Youtube. Podcasts don't have the episode number in them. Really hard to mary up.
Freakin love your content though!
