โI love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.โ โ Douglas Adams
I love this dude!
Yes I have. Not that big of a story and I probably waited an hour before getting picked for a case. The case was about someone getting hit with a car and how much they should get for damages. The actual case took maybe an hour as well and I was picked to read the verdict (which I was nervous about because 1. I hate giving bad news and 2. I dislike reading in front on people). For me it wasnโt that bad of a day, honestly I enjoyed it because I got some alone time while waiting and got to read and I love listening to other people talk.
never done jury duty – no story. lame
I I went to court the other day for jury duty it was fun
QOTD- No. Never had the opportunity to do jury duty. But I am super pumped that even in your busy schedule you chose not to use your influence to get out of it, but invested your time to give back to the community. Big-ups @garyvee
I was part of Grand Jury. Quite a bit different then jury duty. I was the foreman and I had one day of case after case that hurt my very soul. Not only was it the cases, but the responses of some of the jurors to those cases. How could people be ok with some of the things that happened to the kids, how can human life be devalued because a person made bad decisions, how can one just not care? I am still working that stain off and trying to see the goodness of people once again. I am not sure that I could participate in Grand Jury again.
Yes I feel you. Reading in public sucks. And yes death. I feel u
Gary Vee, both jury and executioner.. ๐
Drock – push for a 4k camera. Like an a7s/r or gh4. Cuz i'm watching this shit on my 4k monitor and its….u know….u know?
I was excused from jury duty at the juror's interview because I had a relative who was killed by a drunk driver and the defendant was trying to get off from being prosecuted for drunk driving by going to trial.
Made it all the way to selection then the defendant came out and I knew him as an acquaintance – his lawyer had me removed. ๐
