Too many of you are not focused on the customer. Bob Iger comes back to Disney at the top and what does he do? He eliminates a ridiculous policy of charging people eight dollars a photo of the photo on the rides. You know when you're going down a thing you're like I'm scared of all that. Little things like this add up.

He's focused on the end consumer. They've got a business to run. He's a public company. He's got a stock price I Get all that.

But little things like this add up. A lot of us small businesses, medium-sized businesses. We're huge. Businesses like this have silly little things in place that are good for us in the short term, bad for the customer, and eventually that's going to piss them off.

Make them go in other directions. So when big companies do things like this, it's always a good opportunity for you to take a step back and be like. is there anything I'm doing in my small business In my world, that really is for me I'm being selfish and can I flip it and be a little more selfless. a little bit more Pro Customer.

I took our Facebook page from 500 to 6000 in a year because we gave away free stuff. 80% of our business came from our FB page. šŸ˜Ž Everyone loves free shit.

I can proudly say no, there are no silly little things just for me. I really can't wait for the snowball to gain momentum so I can give MORE!
I believe in the concept of reciprocation – our world needs more of it!

They lose $8 but gain a ton in ā€˜freeā€™ marketing and branding. Now more customers will get those photos from their rides, bring it with them home, share on social media, etcā€¦ which would entice some folks in their social circle to want to come to Disneyland

em hasn't Disney raised prices? hike up the price of tickets a bunch then give $8 off smart for the business not the customer cut it out

At the small business i work at we started charging for printing someonezs shipping label if tbey print it from their phone. Its like 27 cents and people go from confused to angry so its so pointless our only saving grace is we waive the tiny fee constantly and that makes people happy. But again why are we charging this tiny fee in the first place#!?!

Most people reading or watching this now who own a business can take away from this move by Disney and realIe thereā€™s tons of little things everyone can be doing to be more consumer centric .. worried less about how to maximize every dollar for themselves and do much more for the customer ā€¦ I like this subtle move and Iā€™m sure itā€™s an indicator of more things to come ā£ļøā¤ļø and I hope it inspires ā€œone moveā€ for all here
