If you start working at a new company and hate it within the first two or three weeks, you shouldn't feel obligated to stay for a year or two just because you are scared about how it will look on your resume/CV... I genuinely just don't think that it matters.
Aside from that, one important thing that I think I should touch up on is the fact that content is the currency of the internet... You need to put out a vlog, you need a podcast, you need articles on Medium, you need memes and pictures on Instagram, etc... Content, content, content, and more content is always the answer.

I quit my toxic retail job a month ago and I’m so happy and thankful I did that. Don’t let any company, business or person dictate or change your own personal and career goals. You are the only one who gets to decide what pathway to take

I needed this because I’m in the position now that I work for a min wage job in detailing cars when that’s not the career path I’m studying in college and I’ve been thinking about leaving. And this was probably what I needed to get that courage.

Alright folks, I hope someone reads my comment. I quit my elite graduate job at a multinational company shortly after watching this video in 2018. I am doing good again but I had to build up my career from zero with a hole in my CV that still follows me around. Boy oh boy is this video absolute sh*t. The stuff GaryVee advises is only good if you are in a massive industry in a city like New York with a lot of family money behind you. If you are from a regular background, this is not what you should do. If you quit your job less than a certain amount of time in, without massive after-plans in place beforehand, you will really really struggle. I had been in a toxic team and it was really getting me down but I still would not advise doing what I did. I am glad now and happy with what I did and with where I am, but I could have gotten to the same place in less time with a lot less hassle had I stuck it out even a few months more. If you are in a job that you really don’t like, quit – but don’t do it until you have something good lined up because unless you’re from a very privileged background, you will really struggle. Otherwise, you are playing a massive gamble on your life that only pays off for an absolutely tiny percentage of people and a lot of American corporate storytelling leaves out that a lot of the poster boys like Elon Musk etc, actually came from really wealthy backgrounds. The whole Hollywood movie style storyline is not real life, and a lot of the people who claim that was their story, if you do even a little bit of digging you’ll find they either mitigated their risk or had pre-existing wealth. TLDR: Save at least three to four months salary, have a plan in place, and even if you absolutely hate the guts of the people you work with, do not give any clues at all, as you never know when you’ll bump into them again. It’s not as cool, but it’s far better than what he’s advising. Garry literally worked at his family wine shop all throughout his twenties which I doubt was fun and games, so I don’t know why he advises this.

I just wanna say regret is poison. I dropped out to chase my dreams just so even if I fail I won't have regrets, because I'd rather die than hating to live life every day. So please find your passion and never desert it.
