I relate so much to Matt however, I’m 32 and literally just found something that makes waking up in the morning and pushing hard easy. And, I live with chronic illnesses. I have a three hour commute round trip as well. For the past six years I’ve lived with my parents, for mental health reasons and felt like I was accomplishing nothing. I loved my job at 23, so much I got it tattooed on me! I feel like, we all get it when we’re ready to get it. I’ve tried eBay, and various other things. Nothing ever stuck for me. Finally, I found something I enjoy doing that helps my mental health and only found it in June. You’ll get there.

As someone who (wayyyy back when) not only DID audition for, but was then awarded a full-ride to Mundelein School of Music (for voice/vocal).. As that same person who, years after….. absoluckingflutely regretted that I stupidly turned it down… As that same person, now, looking way back…. realizes that, for whatever reason… there probably was one & it just wasn't meant to be… GREAT ADVICE GIVEN to that (esp for his age) super ambitious 16 year old! Parents that are willing to pay for his continuing education to lighten that burden, a chance to do what he wants regardless… doing what he loves in the meantime, in some way/shape/form… = win, win, win imho! 🙂 Best of luck to ya, kid! May you have lots of success & happiness in whatever you do! Music is power, music can heal…. do "you" & enjoy! 🙂

I totally love the part "Don't Demonize Technology". As a parent myself I totally can relate and I have my kids spend time in their Tablet and watching some kid videos in chromecast and that's the modern way of learning. I totally agree!
