When I have haters, I honestly look at it as a failure to communicate on my part. You should never underestimate the value of being proactive and respecting your haters.

Yknow what’s five words that majority of haters online hate hearing? “Your opinion doesn’t matter” yknow why they hate hearing that? Because it’s true

All we can do is reach out and try to understand the reason behind the hate. I know one time a Facebook user objected to the fact we use the word "Handicap" in our name. I responded to the person, explaining our perspective. Sometimes you can resolve the problem. Other times you can't. At least try though.

Hurt people, Hurt People……………. I find the best way to deal with them is head on. Many times it turns into a un official counseling session. My theme this year is to be helpful and that has taken me into many directions that i would have never been to if I cut the conversation short.

I disagree.  I had haters that wrote nasty reviews about my me and my company on a beauty website and were very competitive.  The more I tried to be nice and discuss it the more they wrote horrible things about my family and twisted anything I said.  They  just used it to draw people to their websites.  I found the best thing to do was completely ignore them and then it stopped.

Thats a great perspective and analogy – tearing down vs building up – it also puts your haters in their place and gives them the impression they have no option than to move along or look ridiculous.
