Excellent advice! We often have the tendency to romanticize realities we don't want to embrace.
Everyone is going to Facebook now ย ๐
I think delegating to others strengths is more important than delegating your weaknesses.
A good response! I have a slightly different approach, mostly because I love team-building and helping people develop their skills.
I try to delegate as often as possible, and giving people the opportunity to learn, even if that sometimes involves failing. I love seeing someone try to extend their reach beyond their experience, and SUCCEED! You can almost see them grow taller and stronger when they realize they "did it!"
And even if they fail, it can still build self-confidence and ability. My goal is always to train my people so that I'm no longer needed. If I become obsolete, that's MY fault, because I stopped growing. But I can't stand holding people back.
Know your strengths and play to those. Gary you are so good at identifying strong people who know they're stuff! You delegate sooo well. Love your sharing!
