Love this episode Gary and team! Love how "raw" it is. Never about quality. F$ck quality (HD, etc) Content and actions over everything!

QOTD, I just don't really like cars… Fine when they drive me somewhere but… Meh.

It is sad that he did not execute the daily vlog idea.

QOTD Landon I was a huge NASCAR fan 2006- from here in the 🇬🇧. I got a grant in my senior year of college by writing an application that said "if you give me money I'm going to fly to Charlotte NC and get myself into the NASCAR industry" they gave me the money and I drove around literally door stepping people from Penske, Hendrick, RCR and others. I wanted a job as an engineer, freshly graduated, had one interview and plenty of "We're not hiring" responses – guess they weren't ready for English dudes flew across the Atlantic to ask about vacancies 🙂 Anyway tried my best, wrote my report on the industry including the Aerodyn wind tunnel in Concorde and the college were very happy with it.

Today I'm more into sportscar racing, and my life goal has always been to compete in the Le Mans 24 hours. Right now I compete in the UK as an amateur driving a Toyota MR2 I put together my own money for three years ago. You can watch my onboard of me sucking coming like 16th place on my YouTube channel. Things are on the up, this year I dropped out of a race while leading with a tech issue, it's coming 💪🏻

Gary thanks for making this video, it is the most contextually inspiring of all of those I've watched on your channel. Starting right now I'm going to start documenting my life as an amateur racer as a direct result of watching this video. It's great you can make content to cover fringe interests and I'm really glad you made this one. Now only 208 episodes to catch up on 👀

Gary Vee, it's badass that you proactively seek out such eclectic people of accomplishment. It reinforces your general principal of do what YOU do best and hone the skillset. Don't worry about everyone else or the recoil. Respect.

I just had the opportunity to watch this episode. Great Stuff. I'm involved in motocross and supercross racing and think some of the NASCAR items would cross over. Thank you for another great episode.

One of the reasons Twitter did so well was because it gave fans closer, personal access to their favorite actors and athletes. I sub to Manchester City's channel, they do a great job at giving access to their organization. I always see people commenting that they weren't fans until watching their videos. Access, that's all that people/fans want. If you upload it, they will come.

If I were Landon, I would run around with a vlogging camera, film yourself in your daily life and a editor to produce videos with you having ultimate say. I think having a videographer would ruin the experience and intimacy.

    QOTD Response…
Nascar got to the point to me that they started changing things too quickly to try and appeal to the loudest voices… I totally understand innovation and evolution but it seems like around the early 2000's they lost sense of their roots and started listening only to the highest paying fans, and highest paying sponsors. This is someone that LOVED going to Cal Speedway and watching, and even there it changed in terrible ways. It also didn't help that Nascars Title Sponsor changed so much in that time period…

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Cabin Yim says:

QOTD: Not living in America it is not much of a religion for me because NASCAR is solely based in the US. Also I don't see the thrill of watching a car go in circles over and over again /:.
