I Think more kids should take way more humble jobs. My number one piece of advice is you're 21. Live as humble as you can. not on your parents dollar, live with four roommates.

Why are so many of my former admins, my partners in business, the President of Be Friends, former interns, my partners in Empathy, both interns.
Why? Because they learn most by watching me do weird things. So if you want to be Anna Wintour If you want to be a Maverick Carter If you want to be whoever you think is the coolest.

horrible advice, love with your parents as long as you can, most of the time they’re the only people you can trust, you don’t have to “live on their dollar”, you can help pay the bills and you get to spend more time with them before they are gone

So many underestimate the power of interning or taking a "low-level" job.. In reality, I think that's when you're really in the dirt observing, learning, and building the skills you'll use for the rest of your life. Don't know where to start? Pick a few people you admire and DM or email until someone responds. All it takes is that one "yes" to get close to the sun of the thing you wanna be!
