Why not both? Why can't we have "short form" content in 6 seconds on Vine and "long form" content in 15 seconds on Instagram. What do you think?

crazy how the amount of time a video is allowed to run has effectively created a new form of communication. Like you just said, a six second video is a whole different form of communication than a 15 second video. Social media seems to be thriving off any and every mildly reformed method of communication…I know whats next and google goggles and other similar techs will usher it in.

I'm relieved that Instagram added video.
It seemed so unnatural and a waste of time to switch between the two apps. Instagram users have already built up friends, established habits and have memories, etc. Maybe
Vine should merge with Twitter rather than being a separate app and integrate images. That would bring it up to par. But vine offers 50% of what Instagram does and it already has a huge huge user base.
Who's going to jump ship for 6 seconds less and auto-looping?

okay so what about Keek that is so popular with YouTube celebs. I know that vine may do smaller then Instagram Video but.. Viddy was doing what Instagram did long before Instagram Came Out. So You Have KeeK, Vine, Viddy, Instagram and Flickr what is next the market is being to sturated with these small apps that allow for photos or video or both. I have tried them all (see YT account pcmjsiebolt) but I still like Viddy for Videos and Instagram for Photos. They should not mix
