GARY! I love where your mind is "from a 3 to a 40 BILLION business" 😀
YOU Gary are such an inspiration & hard worker. How do you do it??
I
Service is a great way to ingratiate yourself to others. You're right.
Amazing Gary, always the Best of the Top. Great&Unique.
My entree into the national insurance marketing business was working in the back supply room shipping supplies all day. I started from the ground up, and wouldn't have had it any other way. I learned ever facet of the business, plus lots more.
Gary- This is absolutely spot on! Not only is getting in & doing your time "at the bottom" healthy to learn the business, a little humility & walking in the "little guy's shoes" make you a much better leader when the time comes (& the "troops" respect it, too)! I was blessed to lead quite a bit during my military career & the effectiveness I had I owe to my experience as a loyal, active follower who kept his eyes open for the good (and bad) in those I served with. Great stuff…as usual.
"they think what they did before actually matters. It doesn't. It creates some sort of context, but you're now playing in a new field." Classic Gary V.
Those businesses trying to enter the tech space need to hear this a little more often.
You look like you haven't had sleep for years.. Lol..
It's hard not agree with you, it's a mentality that has to be worked on!
