I Tried hiring, firing, hiring firing and no one just wants to do the job. Is it me that I'm not giving? I'm not giving the job properly. It's 100% you. The number one mistake is we expect our employees to work hard.

but the problem is they don't own the business. You can't ask an employee to work as hard as you or you create a fake expectation versus how much you compensate them. You work for them, They don't work for you. The biggest mistake people make and why they can't build scalable businesses is they have selfish expectations of their employees.

When i became a head chef in a venue of a place of 15 people below me. I failed in the first year from yelling and just standing and demanding. I learnt a hard lesson that people dont like to work like that.
Then i changed, i spoke to thwm and said when i first employed them was " im new at this if im wrong or have gone too far, please come see me at the end of service."
From that OMG i got the best out of people.
I do miss those times but Post covid it made me hat cooking. Reason why is everyone as the customers went so self intitled.

Anyway this bloke is 100% on the money. But i didnt own the buisness i just worked like it was mine.

As an employee I’ve never once written a paycheck for my boss. As a boss I’ve never once received a paycheck from my employees.

I think the employees work for the boss 😂

90% of bosses/managers are terrible at their jobs. It’s very rare to find a truly good boss. People want the title, but they don’t want to put in the work.
