The key is to not over worry about any headlines and focus on making good business decisions and focus on what you can control … period !

How do headlines like this actually affect you like I I Saw this and it made me really think about where all of you were going in 2024 and I just wanted to put this out there. Okay, so in the macro, our economy is doing different things right. What's going to happen 2024? The smartest Financial minds are debating are we on fire? Uh, in a good way. In a bad way, these headlines are going to continue to come through.
A headline you see all the time is: Gen Z will not be as successful as their parents. Meanwhile I know unlimited kids in Gen ZZ right now who already make more money in a month than their parents do in a year because they're using modern technology. Whether it's Tik Tok or flipping or Shopify or many other things that are brewing in our society. The key to this video is what are you going to do in 24? The reality is is that you're actually in control and many people win big in bad economies and lose big in great economies.
So stop looking at these generalizations and focus on what you're going to do this year.
The voice of reason, as ever! I think, as you say, we have to get away from headline reading only. We need to get to thinking critically, researching for ourselves (using Ai!), and making our own decisions!

I feel it differently because we grew up with a half hand of cards and had to try and play catch up. I am more successful than my parents but that doesn’t mean much since my parents were not successful at all. Between gate keeping and hustling I feel the burnout
I'm trying my best… and as Andrew said, you can't lose if you try your best!
Recession is still to come. The entire point of them raising interest rates and such was to get people to stop spending because every sector was growing way to fast and doesn’t keep up with wages and how inflation should be going up. If we go right back to spending spending spending it will collapse. There are so many living paycheque to paycheque now and that I see complaining online of prices or they can’t afford this or that. It will collapse at some point. Probably this year, halfway through or something like that.
