I am in the middle of a debate with some other departments at work and what Christina says at the end about challenging the editor really speaks to what I want to do. I want to challenge the department who don’t understand what they’re implicating mean by demanding I do certain things that fall outside of my comfort zone. I want them to understand how damaging it will be to the process that we’ve fine-tune over so many years. Thank you for this interview.

This interview is great for a few reasons. 1, the lessons/examples of ways we as musicians can better employ empathy in our relationships within the band and in our individual/band PR.
2. The publisher insight towards the end is incredible information for any band looking to maximize the efficacy of your relationship with a music distributor.
3. We might do a cocktail recipe book in the next couple years. The insight gained here is invaluable, mostly because we have z-e-r-o ideas as to what it takes to publish the written word.
