All these Department of educations. All these you know so many teachers I'm hearing from realize this can help the creativity to ask the question, the critical thinking that goes to asking chat Gbt is so powerful, but the archaic thinking, the very basic straight down the path to not realizing that no four or five people on a board or decision makers are going to stop technology. You know the Antiquated thinking that you have of the way you grew up. It's not going to stop I Just don't understand this.
I'm so pumped to see this headline because every other headline or every other conversation in these the halls of Education is so bad. This is so bad We fear technology and Technology just runs right through US Everything's bad and then it's normalized enough. These kids are lucky to have this.

It really has to be used correctly and creatively. School is programmed majority for students and kids to learn by memorization and very likely to cheat or just flat out copy information rather than studying learning and creating your own thoughts, words and ideas. Gotta use it correctly

I agree technology won’t stop. But you have to consider the total impact in removing critical thinking without it. When technology fails it fails hard. Look at the southwest fiasco during thanksgiving. We are going to make ourselves irrelevant if we don’t implement wisely instead of rush in 100%. It wasn’t long ago people were eating tide pods based on what they saw on social media 😂
I haven’t used chatgpt yet but I feel like if I had it when I was in high school I would have learned a lot more and learned faster because I was more of a question what the teacher is teaching and find my own sources on the matter so I spent a lot of time on Google, reading books, watching documentaries, & trying to find studies

Then you are failing to see the problem with technology like this. Be positive all you want, but what makes you the arbiter of education when you trash school so much? If we have learned anything over the last 20 years its that people cannot be trusted to be responsible and do the right thing. Most people always find a way to exploit technology and become lazier and dumber as a result. You preach about how there is antiquated thinking but what about those who have real, genuine concern? And why shouldn't we? This technology should not be available to us. It just shouldn't. Look what is happening with AI and deep fake tech. Nothing coming out of that is good and it is only a matter of time before it falls into the hands of criminals and psychopaths. Schools don't need this. They just don't. Kids are lazy enough as it is, and so are most parents. I couldn't care less how convenient this is. Sometimes convenience is dangerous and makes us complacent. Push your narrative all you want but nobody has convinced me yet of the good of this tech. All I've seen are headlines of students getting caught cheating, which lends itself to laziness and ineptitude. Do you really want a future CEO of some major corporation making decisions when they slept their way through college and dragged their knuckles along the way? I don't. The world has enough entitled and ignorant people. Just look to social media for confirmation of that. The problem is we are actually not hard enough on kids and everyone is so hell bent on befriending their children. Screw that. Children are not friends. They are servants until proven otherwise. That is their only responsibility; to serve and learn. Unless we want more of the same thing, which is a society comprised of young people who have no spine, cry about everything, expect handouts, and push their ever evolving woke agendas. No thank you.
Let's just accept that the robots and A.I are going to be our leaders in the near future….if they allow us to live.
