When you live, paycheck to paycheck, you feel trapped. If I quit my job I'm not going to make rent I'm going to lose my house. Lose the house. The amount of 25 to 30 year olds that should move back in with their parents around the world is staggeringly high.
If their Kpi is happiness. one step backwards, two steps forward. My advice to people that feel stuck is: you're stuck because you're living within the means of your take home. And if you can go 20 to 50 percent lower than that, Well then you've started to create the room for you to be able to get out.
All I've been pushing for 15 years is like in your 20s. Go for it because this is the generation. you can live with four guys in a studio apartment and eat McDonald's and call it a day. You start becoming 37 and you have a child and like you're in a different game.
But even for a 37 year old that has a mortgage and if you live more humble, you can like create that freedom Gary You don't get it. I'm living Bare Bones I'm like do you take Uber yeah every day I'm like take the bus. Do you order food? Yes. Cook at home.
You'll save a fortune. You're telling me you're miserable. You're telling me that you want to live your dream. You're not willing to take the bus for your dream.
Then you're full of.
👌

real shit 💯
Do the best you can and each day do a little better.
One thing you should give folks grace on is there is a big chunk of people who do not have parents to move back in with. Or anyone to move in with for that matter. Some of us our out here on our own doing it with no back up plan, no safety net, it’s real out here. I have not a single place I can fall back on, and I am responsible for the well-being, safety, and stability of my 2 beautiful amazing sons. And I’m only 25. I’m doing my best. I make about 35k a year and im pretty barebones and im able to save 15k a year when there are no emergencies or shortcoming, but the thing about life is those always happen. Im pretty secure but I know there are people out there who are living way closer to the edge than I and they’re just doing their best. But yes, IF you have the opportunity to live rent free then definitely do it! But some of us don’t have that option and for some there is no room for failure.
I'm 35, I have a bussines, and a precious metals investor and I live with my parents. I could live by myself easily. But when you're an adult and you have a good relationship with your folks, and the house is big enough, it feels like you're living with your 2 best friends. I think staying at home after high school was one of the best decisions. But I don't take it for granted, I always save as much money from each paycheck, you'll be surprised how much you'll make in 3 to 5 years.
What would your advise be if you were in this predicament and you have a kid?

Meanwhile this guy grew up with a family that had a multimillion dollar business that when he was old enough he could then scale to even more money lmao rich people are hilarious
I'm living at home at 35 making money (working fulltime), investing a fair chunk and working on an ecommerce store.
The orange beard 😂 yeah sorry Oliver anthony, you’re simply not seeing straight. And that’s good news
Just move slowly! 😀
I don’t take Uber I don’t eat out and I still struggle to survive if I anything to cut out I would but I have the bare minimum, I can’t even afford a car, I have 2 kids my husband works 12 hr nights shifts, and we just keep our heads afloat, any advice??
$700 rent for the living room I sleep in (my 2 roommates needed bedrooms so they pay $1100 each toward rent , walk the city (no car by choice), $475 health insurance, co pay for meds & drs $150/mo, $550 student loan, my portion of utilities $250/mo my cell phone is $240 a yr (mint mobile) food $300/mo bc I eat once a day as I fast 5:30pm to 5:30pm the next day so food is cheaper. I bring home $2700 a month after taxes working cybersecurity. I am 39 and feel broke af all entertainment in my life is the free city life stuff & YouTube and TikTok. We really work to barely live in America
Right Gary!
A studio here is 1000-1200 a month.
Rooms for rent regularly go for 6-800. Below what I’m already living at would be homeless. Plus this recent doctors visit actually got me overdrafted. I’m gonna be doing ramen for lunch and dinner the next month just to get out of the hole lol I’m paid 14 to stack boxes and unload trucks. I don’t have a car payment but once this car breaks down again I’m gonna be stuck on the bus or riding the bike to work. Southern Utah has some mean summers though and the jobs pretty physical. Hard to keep my eyes open some days.
What do you thinks the best move? Should I move to a town with less opportunities so the rents cheaper, but it’s harder to get work and chase dreams? Or do I continue to make each paycheck work as a weekly subscription to simply exist?
Or should I just shower at the truck stop and live out of my backpack to save that 1000 a month plus utilities?
I imagine it’s a bit harder to land that dream gig when you look and smell like a 70s era metal band roadie.
Gary would you recommend working a second job for your 20s
