I recently cut out 90% of my dick-face family because none of them wanted me to succeed. Honestly, I don't even really know what's next, but there's a badass inside of me and I'm finally letting her OUT!

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Simon says:

Do you think one cen be scared to fail just because of themselves? Maybe loosing the current state of living, comfort, sense of security. What about that?

I'm assuming this was put up somewhere with the green screen keyed out. I'm interested in that sort of thing and really just want to see what it looks like. Anybody know where it is available?

Love your content @Gary Vaynerchuk! I've been working through a lot of that not-cut-outtable negative energy lately and reassessing where I place my own value – and that's in my work and in my hustle just like you say. I play all your videos on loop while I grind away on my Parkour Media, Clothing and Event company One With Nature. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm gonna start commenting more to fuel that fire. (Also I went to college at FDU Madison and worked at Gary's Wine and Marketplace and will always kick myself for not biking further down the road to Wine Library haha)

@Gary Vanerchuk I'm afraid of failing because of my wife. I don't want to let her down. I'm the bread winner. Sometimes I feel that she has too much faith to where she'll allow me to take too much risk

What if you're scared of failing in front of yourself? Because whenever I fail, even if the people around me don't judge, I judge myself harshly. Like school for example. If I take "easy" classes (PE, home economics, etcs.) I likely won't have to face failure but since those courses may not appeal to my interests or challenge me, I won't feel accomplished. I guess what I'm getting at is, maybe I need help overcoming my personal self-judging over my own failures? I don't want to be super tolerable to failing and I think that my fear of failing has fueled me to do well in some cases. Also being fueled by fear to succeed sounds kinda bad? I don't know.

( pretty lengthy but I do recommend reading this. Gary, I have written the second paragraph for you to read.)
I have the same problem here at my place. My mom hates my business enthusiasm and wants me to go straight line like my brother and play it safe.

WHAT I DO is, I just don't care. I don't care what my mom says. Or my brother going in a straight line defined by society ( infact, he is a topper – and also much ahead of rest of the society. He has it all. )
So if you ask me the same question.. I would say you just gotta cope with it and do something with your time. You can do some many thing without hurting their feelings.

To be honest, I always get F and Ds when my brother is always on A+ ( 9.7 pointer out of 10) but I know that I will accomplish what I want in life. I know that college is not a place for me. I just trust my IQ and my EQ ( to give you an idea of my IQ, I always got B and As in school even without studying. Trust me, I rarely touched my books. And I get low grades now because of the paper pattern. The thing I did back in the day doesn't work anymore.)

The bottom line is, just cope with it, trust the flow, and work. Working is important. ( and of course, I don't have any support for working too. But I still do work on my own.)

Block negativity your art form is very important

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Yavor Trifonov says:

People come and go. That's not really a leading condition. The underlying mechanism that drives negative, fearful or what-not behavior is the engine… the diminished sense of self. And yes, proper communication, understanding (yourself) solves all things. 🙂

This is so true. Lately I'm trying to become a singer but I'm afraid of what a certain family member will say because I have a naturally low voice and I'm trying to become a beautiful high voice operatic rock singer like my rock idols. The family member told me I can't because I have a low voice but I have a high falsetto so I feel like I have "something. I don't know what it is yet but I'm gonna go with my gut and keep on going after my singer dream.

I think you have to detach yourself from that person as much as you can until you have proven yourself 100 percent that you have succeeded.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tommy T says:

Finally, an answer that shows empathy instead of "fuck the haters and do you". That's not always possible.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars LeadershipAnimated says:

“Think of it this way: There are two kinds of failure. The first comes from never trying out your ideas because you are afraid, or because you are waiting for the perfect time. This kind of failure you can never learn from, and such timidity will destroy you. The second kind comes from a bold and venturesome spirit. If you fail in this way, the hit that you take to your reputation is greatly outweighed by what you learn. Repeated failure will toughen your spirit and show you with absolute clarity how things must be done.”

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Shazin says:

Hey guys, lots of people think and said and still say I'll fail or that I'm a failure, many are close to me and some are strangers. However I seriously don't care about their opinions anymore, I'm just gonna keep working and do what's right for me. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, and so far it hasn't been. I've been broke, sleeping at people's houses when I had nowhere to live, been depressed but I'm still here and still in it for the long term. I want to be a presenter and that's what I'll do, use Youtube as a platform to interview people and present. One day I'll also interview Gary V too.
