Best point I think you've ever brought up Gary
This video really resonates with me, my business will get there but nothing can replace the energy get from my family.
Fuck, I needed this today. Great message Gary. Thanks for sharing the thought.
So true. I apply this (did not learn this from you sorry G) to my career. Death is my greatest motivator. I've been talking about that for some time. When I die, I want to be able to say, yep I'm ready to go so now until that day I am not afraid to try, I am not afraid to fail. I have been pushing my career in the direction I want it to go by taking risks and chances. I apply for jobs that are way outside of my skillset and I get turned down but I don't care, there are positives to take from that. Meeting people for example. All this while just being myself. Be open and honest to the world and the people you meet. I established a long career in I.T but got disillusioned with it. It was never what I wanted to do. I was just wasting time. I did it because it paid well but wasn't good for my well being. I took a chance and applied for a role in corporate legislation. Low and behold it paid off. Now I am a Privacy Advisor for a major NZ organisation. I am learning therefore I am earning (Tai Lopez). But it doesn't stop there. I will continue to push and rise because death will meet me one day and I want to be able to fit everything in so that I know I never wasted my life. We all check out of this life so no point wasting it.
Sick beat!
+Gary Vaynerchuk My Mother has had severe Dementia since 2011, and passed on Thursday. She helped me financially to go back to school at 56, and believed in me. I had my two brightest successes in May-June and survived Stage 3 Breast Cancer that she never saw, or got to see me graduate. I know now i can reach the goals i set out to do ( Thank You for your Motivation, your example of ethics, that 1-1 with colleagues and work force, and being your best self), it is bittersweet to say Goodbye. I will set new goals and reach them because she helped me, supported me, all my life. I think we all need someone to Champion you, be in your corner. Unconditionally. That was my Mother.
Powerful message here. Is true perspective. When we put fear in the true context it shows where you should have more courage.
Okay so of course this is a fantastic motivational message that sets me on fire (Gary Vee doing his thing) – but I've just got to chime in and hand it to whoever edited this video. Excellent.
