The packaging of things matters … I love education .. I just think we need a much more thoughtful conversation around its current packaging in many places in the world … so many kids grow up to be anxious and insecure and lose their creativity and joy and become resentful towards their parents all in the name of appeasing a system that is antiqued at best .. the subconscious of youngsters today is 🚨 raging with the sense that the classroom is sooooooo disconnected from the 2023 reality of life that it’s cause unneeded stress, not to mention there poor teachers who often also sense it but are stuck as well in this “system”

A lot of parents biggest mistake is over emphasizing school because what it does is it trains a child to believe in short-term validation. School teaches people to accept and even Aspire towards subjective affirmation every 90 days on teaching a commodity. It's destroying children. We have destroyed The only people that achieve remarkable things in life were the ones that legitimately either in their mind or through execution.

Went again. it's accepting the process most don't and then they find themselves in a place where even understanding who they are is a challenge because all they've done is try to Aspire towards this tangible outside validation infrastructure that is not grounded in anything important.

School is the start of training for people to become part of the system, it’s how government brainwashes from an early age 😡
    As John D. Rockefeller said..
‘I don’t want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers.”

School needs to teach stuff that actually matters in life.

I left highschool on my second day of sophomore year after losing my house to a flood at age 16. I never returned and I'm now 21 and feel I've learned so much by entering the "world" sooner and now have a good paying job and I'm enjoying doing my photography passion. I get to photograph things I could never dream of.

Y'all, this isn't the truth. Education is important. He's making up shit that most likely, sorry to say it, isn't proven. School teaches you important things, from problem solving to social skills. And if you find something you excel in you can create a career path for yourself. Don't listen to random dudes on the internet.

Why hasn't someone like Gary gone our and made a school model all the way from k-12 and set it up in a state where they are really low on the totem pole of education and prove he's right, we all know he is, it'll only take 12 yrs and we can all rally behind a new school model for the public school system around the u.s.

What school does for you is so much more than sitting in class and learning.

It teaches you other things, it exposes you, your child or anyone, being educated builds confidence.

The tasks and assignments are good to keep the child/students busy and to stretch their brains, making them critical thinkers, showing them that they can overcome any problem.

It’s more than grades and passing exams.

If you don’t know this then you shouldn’t advise anyone on whether or not they go to school.

School is just a daycare for parents to work. The real learning happens at home.

    Parles-tu français?
-I thought not. You see, like most subjects, it requires instruction from someone. Professionals are best-suited to the task.

We told our kids we would pay 100% for any trade tupe school. My son has just finished flight school already hired by a commercial airline. My daughter has always loved doing hair so shes going to cosmetology school. I wanted them to choose something they loved and something that their schooling would actually lead to a career they actually loved. I was 100% against getting in debt not even knowing if would lead to a career. My sons friends who went straight to a 4 year college have all ended up changing what they thought they wanted to , so not only have wasted money but time . I have never pushed having a college education as something above all else.
