When people think I'm a perfectionist I'm like you're scared you're not a perfectionist. You're scared of judgment For me, what works is the balance of hunger and ambition with complete and utter content. which equals it's like a formula. Hunger and ambition, you know.

plus wild content equals the ability to not judge myself for making mistakes.

Hunger (desire) & ambition (huge vision/goal) + wild content (huge amount of clarity) = the ability to not judge yourself for making mistakes ( skill of recovering very fast from pain)

I think my mindset is changed. for me being a perfectionist is now me just wanting to get something as good as I can for my own benefit, and I’ve been working on my perfectionism for a long time, it used to be as you say.

I think I get it. However, when people think hunger & ambition they probably imagine speed, because the 1st two I presume spawn from passion. So, the last "content" might be difficult, because it comes off as complacency. However, if you're content. You also allow yourself the ability to move at a pace & not at a sprint. So, you judge yourself less. I'll add when you have true resolve in your hunger & ambition you're less judgmental of your mistakes/failures, because given the time you'll succeed.

They arent scare of judgement. They're narcissists that don't want to look fallible, and hurt their ego. It's the same concept with "impostor" syndrome and "social anxiety".
