I don’t really like Gary most of the time tbh but I really like what he said here, a lot of 20-25 year olds need to be told this, the anxiety is real to figure out what you want to do when you haven’t figured it out yet

Jordan peterson got opposing views and he's a clinical psychologist and that's just a dude on the internet that talk out of his ass most of the time. By the age of 35 you should've done something anything. Wtf have you been doing for the past 10 years everyone is gonna be somewhere and ur still stuck in "I have time". All I am saying is don't compare your success to other people but at the same time don't think that time is something you have. It's the one resource that you lose continuously so use it.

I'm heck'n 15 and I hate myself because I don't have a job to help my parents financially. I'm not even old enough to get a job yet. and on top of that my dad is pressuring me in to trying to get some way of income and every thing he says as example jobs I don't want to do. I don't know what I do and my want for a job has made my parents pressure me into "needing to know what I want to do" but I don't heck'n know… I just. I don't know what to do.

I’m 21 but I’m a realtor graduating in finance in a year debt free with plans to join a commercial brokerage when I graduate. Will I enjoy my job? Idk. Will I be in real estate in ten years as an agent. Idk
I just know that if I put fun aside (most of it at least) and just put myself out there and take risks and fail, by the time I’m 30 or so I would have failed and learned enough to know what I want to do.
    That’s what I think at least…..

I like what he is saying that you have time still a lot, you are young just 23… But I would like still to make myself some what successful in life in the young, I'll not put age limit but do it when I am in young age and my mind is still running really smooth

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nathan Hart says:

Man I need a video on young fathers💯 I'm working my ass off and still feel like I'm not doing enough, work at least 10 hours a day, have my son 8 hours, and I barely sleep. This shit is intense

With great power comes great responsibility. There are no real life Spiderman or Superman. The only power today is money. The only superheroes today are the billionaires. These superheroes are heros for the modern day. These are the people with the power to right wrongs, stop famine. Put sick people into hospitals. Take the homeless off the streets. There's no excuse for any if these things. So what are they doing with their superhero powers? With their responsibilities.

And here’s we go again. It’s literally the 15th time you upload this to one of your social media sites. You even follow me on Twitter m, but still never tag me. Now I have a Mojo_Mouse, but I wish I have purchased the Patient Pig or Patient Panda in May haha. I still wear the same hoodie though haha and I’m a lot more patient now. Thanks again

I'm 24 and totally lost right now. I've been so stressed the past few months, and just stumbling on this little YouTube short just brought such a sigh of relief to me and damn near a tear to my eye.

So as a 19 year old. Whos tired of fucking up. What would you reccomend i do to foster monetary success so that i can insulate my family from hardship

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ed Hannigan Video says:

It's hard when you're young as you have this inherent need to succeed fast and unfortunately today with socials it's all about perception from others. I'm 46 years old as I believe Gary is and I still feel, think & act like I'm 21, but the difference is, I do what I want without having to think about what my peers think as around the age of 35 you begin to care less about other peoples views and that then evolves into the 'don't give a fuck' which Gary has been lucky to have installed in him a lot longer than most.

At 45 I looked back at everything I've done having toured the globe as a musician for 30 years and in 2020 I just stopped and moved on to something else thinking hell I've done that and I've another 45 years again doing other things if I do it right, so as Gary says, you've got time, stop worrying about your peers, stop buying cars for people you hate because that's what you're doing or you'd drive a VW Golf if you were sensible, that watch on your wrist & that iphone 13 isn't for you either think about it.

You will only truly understand age when you reach this age on how short life really is and how much you really can do if you set your mind to it, but you might have to do without a few material things in the first few years till you build yourself, but trust me it will all work out if you keep the foot to the floor, maintain focus and don't watch others, stay in your lane.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Paul Allen says:

I've been following Gary for 5 or so years now. This is good advice, but you should also acknowledge that there's a difference between 'doing nothing right' and just being lazy and procrastinating. I'm 26 and didn't do that until around 25, 4 years after I found Gary.
