Peterson once broke down the solution to "being stuck" to a simple plan. Figure out the place where you are, figure out the place where you wanna be. Figure out out the first steps and then do it. What's so great about this channel is it seems to put a lot of accent on the "figuring out where you are" part, which lots of people underestimate the importance of.

I don't know what to do; Im bad at communication and socializing. It seems to important to let go of though

Drake is a bad rapper, Selena Gomez is a bad singer… still make lots of money. Johnny Cash wasn't a great singer, still was one of music's most influential people.

I don't get what the 'talent' is in business. Is it persuasion ? Is it math ? Is it decision making ? Is it accounting and economics? Is it hustle and energy? What is a 'business' talent ?

Gary V is fuckin right about how success do require talent. HOWEVER the main problem with this video is that Gary V is ignoring the fact that there are TWO TYPES OF TALENT.

    1) Natural ability – You are naturally good at it. For instance, Mozart was born as musical genius just like how Newton was born as physics genius. Some of my friends are naturally good at socializing with people while I am a fuckin introvert.

    2) The ability to LEARN AND IMPROVE QUICKLY – You are NOT naturally good at it but with proper guidance and effort, you will become better than MOST PEOPLE . For instance, Michael Jordan was a terrible basketball player during his high-school years. But the moment he decided to put A LOT OF WORK into basketball, he QUICKLY became the BEST player in the league. I was once terrible at public speaking, but after watching thousands of videos like these on youtube, I just won 2nd place in my university public speaking competition.

In conclusion, you shouldn't feel depressed just because you're not naturally good at something. You never know what your talent (2nd type) is until you put A LOT OF WORK into it. I mean I gotta admit there are a lot of things that I am still terrible at doing eventhough I work hard at them. BUT, there are few things in life that I am WAY BETTER than most people after hundreds hours of practice.

I was planning to do a training at home tonight, but I was too tired, I was about to leave it for the next day…… But THIS VIDEO has made me to DO IT TODAY! Thank you very much!

Sometimes i'll be listening yadayada and then gv will say something that literally gives me chills and is just like a KO. In this case it was – “Anything that can help you get into a place where you can not dwell, not complain, not allow the negativity to seep in, it will bring you enormous dividends” Bloody hell I resonate with this

This is one video I don't agree with…and I'm usually on the same page with Gary. There are many people who are huge successes in fields they weren't naturally great in. They became great via desire, drive, passion and hard work. Don't ever quit on your dreams. Life is nothing without them. 💪🏼💯

Hey Gary thanks for the videos there really helpful. One quick question. What mediums do you use to learn? Because you don't read. Thank you.

Apart from that it sounds really arrogant to hear that from you, since you are an entrepeneur yourself. While other people are motivating and encouraging their fellow humans to reach their goals and unfold their potentials you are literally doing the opposite. I ve never heard a famous football or basketball player saying things like "never become a football player if you dont have the talent to be one." What you are saying Gary is in other terms "i am gifted to be an entrepeneur and a few exceptions like me,, the rest of y'all go and be something else."

Michael Jordan was "bad" at basketball and didn't make HS team so he practiced…I get what you are saying Vee, I like your enthusiasm. Human enhancement is possible, especially brain related which is as challenging to train brain as it is to train the body. Sociologically, the next gens are not prepared for the complexity of the times we are in and many are deficient in the ability to think. Our brain is a data collection bio-hardware hub in our head, it gets bombarded and filled with data from birth. During primary socialization in the home or secondary socialization at school, if humans neglect to teach children how to process incoming data and install "thinking software" (so to speak) to set humans up for later success, masses of humans are left in the dark about their purpose while they inhabit a human body that works with a brain aimlessly wandering Earth. My friend, Eric Hensman, Director of the film The Prey (2017) likes you so I checked you out for the first time yesterday on another video. Thanks for refraining from F bombs in this video 🙂 Lots of Love Dr. Pop

i disagree on this one. cause everyone just didnt start a great business man. most entrepreneurs say they failed to succeed. So with business especially cause theres so many demographics. You just gotta work on it like everything else. You just dont get wet like curry you just dont do backflips right off the bat in almost all cases.
