January 1st 2013, I weighed about 370 pounds. My wife could cook!

December 1st 2013 I lost 120 pounds. Well give or take ten pounds, My former wife and I split up.

LOL, seriously, she was six years older than I, so when she hit 54, I traded her in for two 27's. LOL

OK, truly serious. It was a great 15 years but we did split up January 6th 2013,

I was truly about 370 and then I gave up 95% of each of these, my gambling, alcohol intake, sugar and caffeine. I stopped DTV watching, and quit my 27 year run of Corporate with two different companys, where I had become a white collar desk jockey.

By December 1st 2013 I weighed in at 251 pounds. I still stick to that food in-take structure eating habits consuming primarily anything on the Food Pyramid.

Today, I don't own a Car, no TV, no Credit Cards, and void any financial Loans, and now, no debt.

As a former gymnastics coach, constant reiteration, with subtle and deliberate deviation, is exceptionally valuable. Everyone once in a while you will say the same thing you've said 100 times. But on that last iteration, something clicks. Its beautiful

That’s a really good take. If you look at the inverse, it’s also true; if you constantly think about how hard working out is, you’ll always have a negative mindset about it and never put yourself through the motions.

If you start generating a new thought process, over time it starts to take hold. Then you get to a point where your mindset changes and you’re actually able to put that mindset into actionable steps.

In this case for Gary, it doesn’t even have to be a positive thought process. He focused on the negatives he didn’t want anymore, and used that negativity as a motivator to do something about it. It’s just a rebranding of your frame of reference. Yeah, eating healthy and working out isn’t easy. But in his mind, that was a far cry from the discomfort of being dead lol.

Absolutely on point! – THX! The trick is finding the right barrage of messages. Many people are repeating thought/info that’s not helpful. Your thoughts always lean toward what’s helpful. Keep it up, GARY!

Making money is an action. Keeping money is behavior. Growing money is knowledge

I agree! 🙌 It's like becoming an "overnight success". Most people only look at the end result, without taking into account all the work (mental, emotional, spiritual, physical) it took to actually get there.
The process of change starts way before actually deciding to change.

Factsss. Also get friends with those habits, or talk to your friends who have those habits. I started consuming workout content and swiping up on homies stories when they are at the gym and having those convos. Has helped a ton.
