"Imposter syndrome" is just insecurity in disguise. Instead of being over romantic about our insecurities, we need to start looking within and getting real honest. Ask yourself ... What are your weaknesses? What do you think you suck at and why do you think that way? Is there something you can do to improve, or maybe can you triple down on other strengths instead? Don't be afraid of your insecurities, get curious about them 💡.. Self-awareness leads to real security and freedom!! I hope this helps ❤️

Like I Think we need to kill imposter syndrome as a word because it's putting makeup on something we should get to. The root of is a pretty word for insecurity. How do I deal with insecurity the same way everyone does I either push it way down and it becomes a cancer or I get more vulnerable and over communicate about it or practice making myself uncomfortable to get over it. I didn't like flying as as a kid I was scared I fly more than almost anybody now I struggled with Candor my whole life without even realizing it once I realized it I started to address it so much so I wrote a whole book about it so you know I think we have to, um, deal with it head on.

Even the concept of imposter syndrome scares me because it makes it a little bit more thoughtful when imposter service is insecurity. I am insecure that I don't belong and these people are better than me. How do you get over that? You practice.

Once I overcame my imposter syndrome in the marketing space (I work with small businesses and their marketing) big things started happening for me. So 100% agree with Gary – face it head on and deal with it !

To me, "imposter syndrome" is a natural human thing and its an indication that you doing good work and are going the right way.

When you are really really good at something sometimes the way others applaud and compliment you can make you feel unworthy because you are just being you. That's natural and that feeling should ENCOURAGE you not DISCOURAGE you.
